Education is the thread that weaves together all parts of our organization. Whether it is in a classroom, a local farmers market, or a bus stop, the scope of our programs aim to teach, engage, and inspire others to be part of cultivating a healthier local food system! We believe outreach and education are vital in our demonstration of sustainable food systems.
Power of Produce
Power of Produce (PoP) Empowers youth with knowledge of seasonal fruits and veggies at local farmers markets. To find out more about the program, please head over to our Pop page!
This program (CAP) allows us to Install 10-gallon systems in classrooms across Fayette County and Central KY as well as conduct mini-aquaponics workshops with kids. For more information, click here.
