Fresh Fixins Salad Kits feature FoodChain’s indoor aquaponic grown lettuce, herbs, and microgreens in exciting blends that change monthly. Salads include other KY proud products such as partner farm produce, local cheeses, and tasty value add products from the beautiful bluegrass state. Salad kits also support youth education! Our farm is host to the Bluegrass Urban Farm Friends initiative- an urban ag paid internship opportunity for Fayette county middle and high school students to get hands-on experience growing, processing, and marketing foods while engaging with their community!

Each Salad Kit is 2 large entree salads or 4 side salads and costs $20.

Lemon Thyme Asparagus Salad- local asparagus marinated in a lemon thyme vinaigrette, with shaved parmesan, white salad turnips, carrots, and some yummy fried leeks.
