Purchase FoodChain’s Lettuce

We can now sell our lettuce to the public! This lettuce is grown in our innovative indoor aquaponics farm, which resides right in the middle of a food desert in down town Lexington. We pride ourselves on growing some of the most sustainably raised herbs, microgreens, and more in the heart of an urban area– modeling an inclusive and reproducible food system that promotes food equality for all.

We are only selling the lettuce in pounds, but don’t worry, this variety of lettuce will keep up to three weeks and is delicious! You must pay online (if you are unable to pay online let us know). You can pick up your basil at FoodChain between the following hours:

Monday – Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm

If those hours don’t work let us know and we can coordinate.
