Purchase FoodChain’s Basil

Because of how abundant and happy our basil plants are we can now sell them to the public! These basil plants are grown in our innovative indoor aquaponics system, which resides right in the middle of a food desert in down town Lexington. We pride ourselves on growing some of the most sustainably raised herbs, microgreens, and more in the heart of an urban area– modeling an inclusive and reproducible food system that promotes food equality for all.

The basil comes in either a half pound or a pound. You must pay online (no cash or checks can be accepted). You can pick up your basil at Smithtown Seafood Between the following hours:

Monday: 3:00pm-8:00pm

Tuesday – Sunday: 12:00pm-8:00pm
